Please submit all files in one of the following formats:
1 - Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
- Encapsulated Post Script (.EPS)
These file formats are considered line art or vector images. They are ideal for screen printing purposes and for digital printing. Vector images can be scaled to any size without losing resolution or creating larger file sizes. Artwork in this format may be sent at any actual size as long as it is proportional to finished sign size. Please ensure that all artwork and text has been converted to “outlines” to avoid problems with font reproduction. Please refer to your program’s “Help”, menu regarding this process. Certain files created with CorelDraw and Macromedia Freehand may be exported from these programs as an EPS or Illustrator file for our printing purposes.
2 - JPEG (.JPG)
- TIFF (.TIF)
- Photoshop (.PSD)
These file formats are considered bitmap or raster images. They are not usually ideal for screen printing, but can be used, in most cases, for digital prints. Files must be setup at 100% of the finished print size at a MINIMUM resolution of 150 pixels per inch (ppi), and a MAXIMUM resolution of 300 ppi. If signs are to be screenprinted, bitmap logos and artwork may need to be converted to a vector file format. Additional artwork charges may apply for this service.
If you have any further questions regarding artwork requirements or submittal please feel free to contact our art department by phone at 954.926.6326, or email us at steve@digigraphicsusa.com.
Sign previews that are generated on this site are only an approximation of what actual your sign will look like. Text that may appear unaligned or off-center will be adjusted accordingly. If you would like to request that a layout of your final sign be faxed to you for approval please enter your request in the comments field of your order.
Colors that appear on monitors and desktop printer outputs are not accurate color matches to actual printed signs. All inks used for commercial signage adhere to the companies’ Pantone specific standards for color usage.
Black & White photographs and Bitmap images that are screenprinted result in a “halftone” image. The “halftone” image is made up of a series of small dots, much like a newspaper photograph.
Custom artwork color choices for screen printing may be selected from our current line of stock colors. Colors selected using the Pantone color matching system or other methods may require custom ink mixing and color matching. Additional charges will apply for this service. Accurate color for printed signs must be verified visually with color chips and/or printed digital proofs.
